An IPI Property Inspection is a Detailed and Systematic Visual Inspection of the Property, its Structures, Design and Fixtures that will provide a Transparent Understanding of the Property's 'Vital Signs' and Condition as observed on inspection date.

IPI 4 Point Assurance

Our main focus on residential property in the R 750,000 - R 10,000,000 range, generally working with buyers however, in the past we have been contracted by the seller to assist in managing a quicker sale allowing for a realistic price based on transparency and due diligence.

Confidentiality

We work with the the party who contracted our services only, this may be the Agent, the Seller, Buyer or investor. We do not share the findings of the report with any 3rd party without written authorisation from the client

Accuracy

Unlike other inspection companies, we do not comment on what we can not readily observe and thus avoid speculation and guesswork. When IPI perform a property inspection, a good starting point is to determine if the defect is "patent" or "latent". A defect is considered "patent" if it was readily discoverable or "apparent by a reasonable inspection". If not, and if the defect is hidden, then it is "latent". The distinction is not always easy to make and depends on the defect's "susceptibility to detection”.
